Logo Design, Website and Marketing Materials
The Brief
Although Maria had been practicing as a successful lactation consultant for several years, she felt that she needed a formal visual identity and some fresh marketing materials to create the right impression with potential clients.
She asked for a design that could be used across printed literature, a website and social media that would communicate her warm, calm and respectful approach to providing breastfeeding support.
Maria and I began by discussing her approach to work and her plans for the future in detail. From here we were able to build an in-depth picture of her brand – identifying her core values, the benefits her service offers, her key audience and many other crucial factors.
Armed with this information I was able to develop a bold but sympathetic logo design, supporting graphics and colour palette. These were then applied to essential marketing literature and a new website, complete with online booking system.

It was important that the website was clearly laid out, calm and easy to navigate as it was likely to be accessed by new mothers, potentially in the middle of the night, as they approached a crisis point with their breastfeeding issues.
