Launch Campaign Materials

The Brief

Work Locally is an online community dedicated to connecting local tradespeople and service providers with homeowners and individuals in need of help. They needed a suite of marketing materials to support their upcoming launch which could communicate to two distinct audiences – those looking for jobs and those looking to get jobs done.

The Work Locally team and I started this project with a complete review of their brand and all existing marketing materials. We established the brand’s core values, the exact target audience, USP and benefits. We also pinned down what plans they had for the future of the brand.

This paved the way for a set of designs that communicated the value of the service rather than just the process involved in posting or finding a job and ensured positive engagement with the brand.

Postcards & Leaflets

 

The campaign materials focus on a range of issues most likely to engage the brand’s core audience:

  • The need for reliable tradespeople
  • The idea that no problem is too big, small or unusual to solve
  • The idea that you can get all your jobs done via one online hub
  • And for tradespeople the idea that there are huge opportunities right on their doorstep
